About the Role:
Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. Educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts in Dermatology.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Perform account management in dermatology practices, clinics, and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals/objectives in the assigned territory (volume and key metrics); execute brand strategy/tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office and institutional audiences.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies/training; uphold patient-first values.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BS/BA
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda) plus relevant clinical/industry experience
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care impact
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills
- Strong collaboration/team success
- Reside within or close to assigned geography
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs
- Experience calling on dermatologists
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues
