Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along the brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical and patient-access education for medical staff; coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Perform account management in dermatology practices/clinics/hospitals and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics within assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists, healthcare professionals, and relevant groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Follow all compliance policies and training.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience preferred.
- Strategic planning/business acumen; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication and collaboration.
- Live within or near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct healthcare professional selling experience.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training/Travel/Licenses:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral). Valid driverβs license. Some overnight travel (25β50%) and ability to drive/fly to accounts.
