How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Perform account management in Dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and objectives (product volume and other Territory metrics); execute brand strategy/tactics within assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers, support staff, and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; leverage resources and collaborate with internal teams to improve business results.
- Present complex clinical and business information to office and institutional Dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; continually update knowledge on disease states, treatments, and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies, guidelines, and training; demonstrate leadership and integrity.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatologist/Dermatology calling experience highly preferred.
- Business and strategic planning skills; adaptability to changing market conditions.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork.
- Live within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
