About the Role:
- The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager drives demand by educating healthcare providers and optimizing business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value, advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals via product volume and key territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy in assigned segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and healthcare groups.
- Develop and implement medical education/sponsorships; stay current on disease/treatment/market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelorβs (BA/BS).
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Strong communication; collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct healthcare professional selling.
- Dermatologist calling.
- Complex reimbursement experience.
Licenses/Travel:
- Valid driverβs license; ability to drive/fly and up to 25β50% overnight travel.
Training:
- Mandatory product training with exams required; temporary non-exempt status/overtime eligibility during training period; transition after exams.
