About the Role
- Drive demand after potential regulatory approval through education.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop/apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient-access education.
- Conduct clinical selling and account management in dermatology practices, clinics, hospitals, and independent physician offices.
- Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) and present complex clinical/business info to HCPs and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies, build customer engagement, and manage allocated resources.
- Maintain compliance with Takeda policies and seek clarification when unsure.
Minimum qualifications (Required)
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and collaboration skills; business/strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct HCP selling experience.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training/License/Travel
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; training up to 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week.
- Valid driverβs license.
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (25β50%).
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51β$87.31; may be eligible for short-term incentives and listed benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holidays, well-being, sick time, paid vacation).
