Responsibilities:
- Drive demand after potential regulatory approval by educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing opportunities in Dermatology practices, key clinics, hospital accounts, and independent physician offices.
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer), conduct account management activities, and present complex clinical/business information.
- Develop/deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies, build customer engagement, and cultivate relationships with decision makers.
- Manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office support).
- Uphold patient-first values and adhere to compliance policies/training.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication and collaboration.
- Reside within/close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on Dermatologists; complex reimbursement experience.
Other:
- Valid Driverβs License; drive/fly to accounts; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
- Must pass mandatory product training/exams.
