About the Role
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts in Dermatology, using strong business processes to achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy for the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to enhance business results and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and healthcare/professional groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies and training; uphold patient-first and customer satisfaction standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s (BA/BS).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of mandatory product training (written/oral exams).

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driverโ€™s License.

Travel Requirements
- Ability to drive and/or fly to accounts and meetings.
- Overnight travel up to 25โ€“50% (as needed).

Compensation and Benefits Summary (as stated)
- U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $63.51โ€“$87.31.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives and certain benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, volunteer time off, holidays, well-being), plus up to 80 hours sick time and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
