About the Role
- Drive demand for the assigned dermatology product through HCP education after potential regulatory approval.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding via education; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers through a brand educational continuum.
- Provide clinical and patient access education for medical staff; coordinate HCP clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics by executing brand strategy/tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; present complex clinical/business information.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; continually update knowledge.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies and training.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication; strong collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Certifications/Travel
- Valid driverβs license; drive/fly to accounts; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
Training Requirements
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; may be non-exempt during training, then exempt after successful completion.
