About the Role:
- Drive demand post-potential regulatory approval through education. Educate HCPs and optimize business opportunities in Dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs (e.g., peer-to-peer education) for HCPs.
- Perform account management in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals via product volume and key territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and medical reprints.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by educating local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists and healthcare groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources.
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Demonstrated strategic/business planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience with complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Certifications & Travel:
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel up to 25β50%.
Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of mandatory product training with written/oral exams.
