Specialty Business Manager, Dermatology

About the Role
- Drive demand for assigned product through education following potential regulatory approval, educating HCPs and optimizing business in dermatology-focused physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding and clinical selling (clinical value proposition; brand educational continuum).
- Support clinical and patient-access education for medical staff; coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Perform account management within dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics; execute brand and franchise strategy tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical info and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; develop customer engagement by identifying/cultivating and educating key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists, healthcare professionals, and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments/business changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Adhere to compliance policies/training and seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication, collaboration.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Training / Travel / License
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid driver’s license; ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel (up to 25–50%).
