About the Role:
- Drive demand for assigned dermatology product through education. Educate HCPs and optimize opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling and deliver the clinical value proposition across an educational continuum.
- Support clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate/lead clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts within dermatology practices/clinics/independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics for assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and healthcare groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budget, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies/training and uphold patient-first standards.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Dermatologist calling experience (highly preferred).
- Strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication, collaboration, and residence within/near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct healthcare professional selling.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience with complex reimbursement issues.
