Responsibilities:
- Drive demand through education after potential regulatory approval for assigned product.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in Dermatology practices, clinics, hospital accounts, and independent physician offices.
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) and conduct account management activities.
- Execute clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and provide targeted sales messages using approved materials.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office/institutional Dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Support patient-first values and adhere to compliance policies/training.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Demonstrated business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, written, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training/Travel/Licenses:
- Pass mandatory product training with written/oral exams.
- Valid Driver’s License; drive/fly to accounts; 25–50% overnight travel.
Compensation & Benefits (U.S., Reno, NV):
- Hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31; eligible for medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, sick time, and vacation (per plan).
