About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand after potential regulatory approval by educating healthcare providers and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) develops and applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices/clinics/hospital outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by cultivating and educating key local decision-makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other decision-makers.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments/business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling at Takeda.
- Demonstrated business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication; strong collaboration.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel:
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Training requirement:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
