Responsibilities:
- Drive demand for the assigned product through education following regulatory approval.
- Educate HCPs and optimize business opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling and deliver the clinical value proposition across a brand educational continuum.
- Coordinate/execute clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) and manage accounts in dermatology practices, clinics, independent offices, and related outlets.
- Attain sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy via approved tactics.
- Build relationships with healthcare provider decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatology and other relevant audiences.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Adhere to compliance policies, seek clarification when uncertain.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic/business planning skills; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals; experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Travel/Licensing:
- Valid driverβs license; travel/drive/fly as needed (up to 25β50% overnight).
Compensation/Benefits (New York β Virtual):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51β$87.31.
