About the Role
The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand through education following potential regulatory approval. Responsibilities include educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts. The SBM demonstrates excellence in business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand education continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate/host clinical education for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage Dermatology accounts in practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand strategy and tactics in assigned customer segments.
- Build professional relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop/deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Execute local-level marketing strategies; build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment/market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (BA/BS)
- 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred
- Strategic/business planning skills; managed care landscape understanding
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and collaboration skills
- Live within or close to assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in pharma/biotech/device/healthcare
- Dermatologist calling experience
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driverโ€™s License

Travel Requirements
- Drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; overnight travel up to 25โ€“50%

Training Requirements
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; temporary non-exempt status during training with overtime eligibility only during training period.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable)
- Rhode Island - Virtual; U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51โ€“$87.31
