Responsibilities
- Drive demand by educating healthcare providers (HCPs) on assigned product after potential regulatory approval.
- Onboard accounts through education; support clinical selling and deliver the clinical value proposition.
- Support initial clinical/patient access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Manage Dermatology accounts in practices/clinics/hospitals/independent physician offices; attain sales goals and key territory metrics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to improve customer engagement; present complex clinical/business information.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; continually update knowledge of disease/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources; comply with all policies/training and uphold patient-first standards.
Qualifications
Required
- BA/BS; 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication, collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; Dermatologist experience; experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Travel
- Valid Driverโs License.
- Ability to drive/fly; up to 25โ50% overnight travel.
Compensation/Benefits (explicitly stated)
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51โ$87.31 (MichiganโVirtual). Possible eligibility for short-term incentives and benefits.
Training
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; transition to exempt status after passing.
