About the Role
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts in Dermatology, using strong business processes to achieve sales goals and objectives.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics; execute franchise and brand strategy tactics within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/reprints and discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships and educating decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office and institutional audiences.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies/training and uphold patient-first values.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatologist/Dermatology experience highly preferred
- Strategic planning skills; adaptability to market conditions
- Understanding of managed care landscape
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs (pharma/biotech/device/healthcare) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience
- Experience calling on Dermatologists
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues

Training Requirements
- Employment contingent upon passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Training period includes live instruction, independent study, role play (max ~8 hours/day; 40 hours/week); trainee non-exempt and eligible for overtime during training only.
- After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License

Travel Requirements
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation and Benefits Summary (as stated)
- Arizona (Virtual): U.S. hourly wage range $63.51–$87.31.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being; up to 80 hours sick time/year; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
