About the Role
The Dermatology sales force drives demand after potential regulatory approval by educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account on-boarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling; deliver the clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build engagement and educate local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists, health care professionals, and decision-making groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Follow compliance policies and seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience (highly preferred).
- Strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and written skills.
- Collaboration skills.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts and meetings; up to 25–50% overnight travel.

Training Requirements
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; external hires are non-exempt during training and eligible for overtime only during that period.
- After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

Compensation and Benefits Summary
- U.S. Hourly Wage Range (Pennsylvania - Virtual): $63.51–$87.31.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits), plus up to 80 hours sick time and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
