About the Role
The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand through education after potential regulatory approval. Responsibilities include educating healthcare providers and optimizing business opportunities in Dermatology practices, clinics, hospitals, and physician offices.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Manage Dermatology accounts and independent physician offices to achieve sales goals and territory metrics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states and treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies and training.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda)
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience highly preferred
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills
- Team collaboration
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs (or relevant clinical/industry experience)
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues

Training Requirements
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License

Travel Requirements
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (25–50%).
