How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Engage in clinical selling; deliver the clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Conduct account management within Dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals and objectives in the assigned territory by delivering product volume and other key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe, effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Execute local-level marketing strategies to build customer engagement and educate key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other healthcare/professional groups involved in decision-making.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and the business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies, guidelines, and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum requirements/qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal/influencing/presentation and written communication.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training requirements:
- Successful completion of mandatory product training (written and oral exams).

Licenses/certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel up to 25–50%.
