How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Engage in clinical selling activities, delivering the clinical value proposition and advancing customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities and programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Conduct account management within dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and objectives by delivering product volume and other key metrics in the assigned territory; execute brand strategy/tactics within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with healthcare provider decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective use of company products.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement through local education.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication (verbal, influencing, presentation, written) and collaboration.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training Requirements:
- Contingent on passing mandatory product training with written/oral examinations; initial period includes non-exempt status and overtime eligibility, followed by transition to exempt status after successful completion.
