About the Role
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling (deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers along an educational continuum).
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage dermatology accounts in practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Attain territory sales goals/metrics; execute franchise and brand strategy.
- Build working relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement and educate key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other stakeholders.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow all compliance policies/training; uphold patient-first values and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in pharma/biotech/device/healthcare.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- External hires during training are non-exempt and eligible for overtime during training only.
- After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements
- Drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; overnight travel 25–50%.

Application/Compensation & Benefits (if applicable to role)
- California – Virtual. U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
