About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval for the assigned product through education. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology, to achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling; deliver clinical value and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer education) for HCPs.
- Manage Dermatology accounts (practices, clinics, outlets, independent offices).
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand strategy within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe and effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to enhance business results and customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical and business information to Dermatologists and healthcare stakeholders.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources.
- Uphold patient-first values, customer satisfaction, and Takeda compliance policies (seek clarification when needed).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device (or related clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatology experience (experience calling on Dermatologists) highly preferred
- Strategic planning and business skills; adaptability
- Understanding of managed care landscape
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Reside within or close to assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs
- Experience calling on Dermatologists
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts and occasional meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%

Compensation and Benefits (if applicable in posting):
- $63.51–$87.31 hourly wage range; may include short-term incentives and benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holidays, well-being; up to 80 hours sick time; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires).

Training Requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams). During training: non-exempt, overtime eligible (no sales incentives/production-based bonuses). Training up to 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week; after passing exams, transition to exempt status.
