Specialty Business Manager, Dermatology

About the Role
- Drive demand through education after potential regulatory approval; educate HCPs and optimize opportunities in targeted physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts in Dermatology.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling/education (value proposition, brand educational continuum, peer-to-peer education).
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics and independent offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy.
- Build relationships with healthcare decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; develop local engagement with decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies/training; uphold patient-first and customer satisfaction standards.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Strategic planning/business acumen; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams). Temporary non-exempt overtime rules during training; then transition to exempt status.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional business travel; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation/Benefits (South Carolina – Virtual)
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life, tuition reimbursement, PTO/holidays, sick time, vacation; specifics per posting).
