About the Role / Responsibilities:
- Drive demand for assigned dermatology product through education following potential regulatory approval.
- Educate HCPs and optimize opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, clinics, hospitals.
- Support account onboarding, initial clinical/patient access education, and coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Attain territory sales goals and key metrics by delivering product volume and executing brand strategy/tactics.
- Establish relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical info and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets/managed markets/medical affairs).
- Adhere to compliance policies and seek clarification when needed.
Qualifications:
Required: BA/BS; 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ at Takeda); Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience; strategic planning; managed care understanding; strong communication and collaboration; reside within/near assigned geography.
Preferred: 5+ years direct HCP selling; Dermatologist calling; complex reimbursement experience.
Licenses/Travel: Valid driverβs license; drive/fly to accounts; 25β50% overnight travel.
Training: Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral).
