About the Role
- Drive demand through education following potential regulatory approval.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding via education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Support clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise/company strategy and tactics in assigned segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through relationship-building and education.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and decision-making groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Adhere to compliance policies and training.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience; experience calling on dermatologists.
- Business/strategic planning; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and writing skills.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Live within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training/License/Travel
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams.
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (up to 25β50%).
Compensation/Benefits (explicit)
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51β$87.31.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives; and medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability/life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, and well-being benefits; up to 80 hours sick time; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
