About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand through education following potential regulatory approval for the assigned product. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling activities, deliver the clinical value proposition, and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute franchise/company strategy for the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships and educating local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and healthcare/professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS; 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience) or 2+ years at Takeda.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists (preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration/teamwork.
- Live within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs (or relevant clinical/industry experience).
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements:
- Contingent upon passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- During training as an external hire: non-exempt; eligible for overtime during training only; not eligible for sales incentives/bonuses.
- After passing: transitioned to exempt status; paid bi-weekly; eligible for sales incentives/contests.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings.
- Some overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable to this role’s posting):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, well-being benefits). Up to 80 hours sick time/year; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
