Responsibilities:
- Drive demand through education for assigned Dermatology product after potential regulatory approval.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding; provide clinical and patient access education.
- Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) and manage account activities in Dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics by executing brand strategy and tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; present complex clinical and business information.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; keep current on disease states, treatments, and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Follow compliance policies and training; seek clarification when uncertain.
Minimum qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS; 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling and/or relevant clinical/industry experience (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Dermatologist/Dermatology experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning skills; managed care understanding.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and collaboration; reside within/near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; Dermatologist calling experience; complex reimbursement experience.
