Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (including peer-to-peer education).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals and objectives by delivering product volume and other key metrics in the assigned Territory; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics within the customer segment.
- Build professional relationships with HCP decision makers, support staff, and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved marketing materials/medical reprints, and discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies, build customer engagement, and educate key decision makers at the local level.
- Present complex clinical/business information on assigned products and patient support services.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and the business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience calling Dermatologists (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market conditions.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Strong collaboration/team skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- Minimum 5 years direct selling to healthcare professionals in relevant industries.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training:
- Contingent upon passing mandatory product training (written and oral exams).
Travel:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts and occasional business meetings; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
Compensation/Benefits (Leesburg, VA):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51β$87.31.
