About the Role:
Specialty Business Manager (Dermatology) drives demand after potential regulatory approval by educating healthcare providers and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers through a brand educational continuum.
- Support clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate HCP clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messaging using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by educating key local decision-makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and healthcare groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources; adhere to compliance policies and training.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driverβs license.
Travel: Drive/fly to accounts; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
Training: Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral).
