About the Role
- Drive demand after potential regulatory approval through education.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in Dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals/objectives.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding via education.
- Conduct clinical selling; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical/patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Perform account management in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop/deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through relationship-building and education.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other decision makers.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment changes.
- Manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
Minimum Requirements (Required)
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; complex reimbursement experience.
