About the Role
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education, educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts in Dermatology. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) develops and applies business processes to benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling; deliver the clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer education) for HCPs.
- Perform account management in Dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics by delivering product volume; execute franchise and brand strategy within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers, support staff, and stakeholders to support safe and effective use of products.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials/reprints.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement via local relationship-building and education.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office and institutional Dermatologists and other decision-makers.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda
- Experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology (highly preferred)
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes
- Understanding of managed care landscape
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in pharma/biotech/device/healthcare and/or relevant clinical/industry experience
- Experience calling on Dermatologists (highly preferred)
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License

Travel Requirements
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts and occasional business meetings
- Some overnight travel (up to 25–50%)

Training Requirements
- Contingent upon passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- During training: non-exempt (overtime eligibility during training only); no sales incentives/production-based bonuses. Training includes live instruction, independent study, role play; up to 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week.
- After passing: transition to exempt status; paid bi-weekly; eligible for sales incentives/contests.
