How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education; coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage Dermatology accounts (practices, clinics, hospitals, independent offices) and attain territory sales goals/metrics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective use of products.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information and patient support services.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and training.
Minimum requirements/qualifications:
- BS/BA.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry) selling OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning/business skills; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling; Dermatologist experience; experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training/licensing/travel:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams); driverβs license required.
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; overnight travel up to 25β50%.
