About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand after potential regulatory approval through education. Responsibilities include educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) develops and applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics by executing brand strategy/tactics within assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement via local relationship-building and education.
- Present complex clinical and business information to Dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Uphold patient-first values; follow compliance policies and training.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong communication (verbal, influencing, presentation, written) and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; 25–50% overnight travel.

Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent upon passing mandatory product training (written/oral). External hires are non-exempt during training and eligible for overtime during training only; not eligible for sales incentives during training. After passing exams, transition to exempt status.
