About the Role
- Drive demand following potential regulatory approval through education.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in Dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Provide clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education programs (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Manage accounts within Dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics; execute franchise and brand strategy/tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messaging using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating local relationships and educating decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and relevant professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education/sponsor programs; stay current on disease states and treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/med device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience highly preferred
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability
- Understanding of managed care landscape
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Live within or close proximity to assigned geography
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs
- Experience calling on Dermatologists
- Experience with complex reimbursement issues

Training Requirements
- Contingent upon passing mandatory product training with written/oral exams.
- Training may involve up to 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week; overtime eligibility during training only (non-exempt).
- After exams, transition to exempt status.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License

Travel Requirements
- Drive/fly to accounts and meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50% as needed
