About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand after potential regulatory approval through education. Responsibilities include educating HCPs and optimizing business opportunities in targeted dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) must demonstrate excellence in business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers along an education continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Perform account management in dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals/territory metrics by delivering product volume; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships and educating local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies and uphold patient-first values.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Required: BA/BS.
- Required: 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Demonstrated business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong communication, presentation, influence, and written skills.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams). During training, may be non-exempt with overtime eligibility; no Takeda sales incentive/production-based bonuses. Training includes live instruction, independent study, role play (up to 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week). After passing, transition to exempt status.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; some overnight travel (up to 25–50%).
