About the Role:
The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand for an assigned product through education following potential regulatory approval. Responsibilities include educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing opportunities in targeted physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value and advance customers through a brand education continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer education) for HCPs.
- Perform account management in Dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics by delivering product volume; execute franchise and brand strategy/tactics in the assigned customer segment.
- Build professional relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build customer engagement and educate key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to office and institutional Dermatologists and other stakeholders.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments and business changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning and adaptability; understanding of managed care.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; up to 25–50% overnight travel.

Training Requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams); external hires are non-exempt during training and eligible for overtime during that period only.
