Responsibilities:
- Drive demand through education following potential regulatory approval for assigned product.
- Educate HCPs and optimize opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding, initial clinical/patient access education, and clinical education programs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals by delivering product volume and key territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/medical reprints; present complex clinical/business information.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies, guidelines, and training.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience highly preferred.
- Strategic business planning; understanding of managed care; strong communication and collaboration; reside within/close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on dermatologists; managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Travel/Licenses:
- Valid driverβs license; drive/fly to accounts; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
