Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical and patient access education; coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage Dermatology accounts in practices/clinics/hospital outlets/independent offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics by executing brand strategy/tactics within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe and effective use.
- Develop/deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office and institutional Dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care; strong communication/presentation; collaboration.
- Live within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in relevant industries.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists; managing complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Travel:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; up to 25–50% overnight travel.
