How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and guide customers through a brand education continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient-access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/objectives by delivering product volume and other territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build customer engagement and educate key local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies and training.
Minimum requirements:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience), OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience (preferred).
- Strategic planning and managed care understanding.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training/License/Travel:
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams.
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel (up to 25β50%).
Compensation & benefits (explicit): $63.51β$87.31 hourly; short-term incentives; medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holidays, well-being benefits; up to 80 hours sick time; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
