Specialty Business Manager, Dermatology

About the Role:
Drive demand through education following potential regulatory approval. Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in targeted dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts. Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers, support staff, and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build customer engagement and inform decision-making.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other decision-makers.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and market changes.
- Strategically manage resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS degree.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience calling on dermatologists highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
- Managed care landscape understanding.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training:
- Contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel:
- Ability to drive/fly; some overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Colorado virtual; U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31. Potential eligibility for short-term incentives and benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life, tuition reimbursement, volunteer time off, holidays, well-being, sick time, paid vacation).
