Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage Dermatology accounts in physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts; include independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics by executing brand strategy/tactics in the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective use of products.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and accurate clinical information.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other stakeholder groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments and business changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office support).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, training; lead with patient-first values.
Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years at Takeda.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists (highly preferred).
- Strategic/business planning skills; understanding of managed care.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication; collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Travel: Up to 25β50% overnight travel; drive/fly as needed.
Training: Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams). During training, non-exempt and eligible for overtime; afterward, exempt status.
