How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Perform account management in dermatology practices/clinics/hospitals and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics via product volume; execute brand strategy/tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and accurate clinical information; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop and deliver medical education opportunities/sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budget, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies and training; uphold patient-first values.
Minimum requirements/qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- Required: 3+ years successful selling in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Business/strategic planning; understands managed care landscape.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Strong collaboration/team skills.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training/certs/travel:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral). Valid driverโs license. Travel/driving as needed; occasional overnight up to 25โ50%.
Compensation/benefits (TexasโVirtual):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51โ$87.31; may be eligible for short-term incentives and listed benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, PTO, holidays, well-being; up to 80 hours sick time; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires).
