About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand post-potential regulatory approval through education. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates HCPs and optimizes opportunities in Dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts to achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate/supply clinical education opportunities, including peer-to-peer education.
- Conduct account management in Dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with provider decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement via relationship-building and local education.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and relevant stakeholder groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments/market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic/business planning skills; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in pharma/biotech/device/healthcare (and/or relevant clinical/industry experience).
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License.

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Application/Training:
- Continued employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written and oral exams). Training: up to 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; temporary non-exempt status during training; no eligibility for sales incentives/production bonuses during training. After passing exams, transition to exempt status and eligible for sales incentives/contests.
