About the Role
- Drive demand following potential regulatory approval for the assigned product through education.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts in Dermatology.
- Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals/objectives.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Engage in clinical selling; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support HCP education opportunities/programs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and objectives by delivering product volume and key metrics in the assigned territory.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers/support staff/stakeholders to support safe, effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through relationship development and education.
- Present complex clinical and business information to Dermatologists and other decision-making groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources.
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience (highly preferred).
- Strategic planning/business skills; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and collaboration.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Training/Travel/Licenses
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel (25β50%).
