Responsibilities
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical and patient access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices, clinics, hospitals, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics by executing brand and franchise strategy for assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messaging using approved materials and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement via local relationship development.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists, healthcare professionals, and relevant groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow all compliance policies/training; seek clarification when uncertain.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication; strong collaboration.
- Live within or near assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; Dermatologists calling experience; experience with complex reimbursement.
Licenses/Travel
- Valid Driverβs License; ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel (up to 25β50%).
