About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand through education following potential regulatory approval. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Meet sales goals and territory metrics by executing franchise/company brand strategy.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and clinical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to grow engagement and inform decision making.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant professional groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling experience (or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda)
- Dermatology experience (calling on Dermatologists highly preferred)
- Strategic planning; understanding of managed care landscape
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals
- Dermatologist experience
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues

Training Requirements:
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly; some overnight travel (up to 25–50%).
