About the Role:
The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives Dermatology demand through education, optimizes business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts, and applies business processes to achieve sales goals.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Provide clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics; execute franchise and brand strategy tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers, support staff, and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and clinical information.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through local relationship building and education.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
Minimum requirements/qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; managed care understanding.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, writing; collaboration.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in the healthcare industry.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists; managing complex reimbursement issues.
