About the Role
- Drive demand for assigned product through education after potential regulatory approval.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop and apply business processes to benefit patients and achieve sales goals.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical/patient access education for medical staff; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics/independent offices.
- Meet sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers/support staff/stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through relationship-building and education.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments/business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources.
- Follow compliance policies and training.
Minimum requirements
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years successful selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning/business acumen; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, writing; teamwork/collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs (or relevant clinical/industry experience); experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training/License/Travel
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; driverβs license required.
- Ability to drive/fly; ~25β50% overnight travel.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- California (Virtual) hourly wage range: $63.51β$87.31.
