About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) is responsible for applying business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer education) for HCPs.
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices, clinics, hospital outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics and execute brand strategy for the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by identifying, cultivating, and educating key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists, healthcare professionals, and groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies and seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatologist/Dermatology calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic business planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Strong collaboration; reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training/Licenses/Travel:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel up to 25–50%.
